COVID-19 Update and Practice Operations
Updated: 2 days ago
Based on the recommendations of the Australian Dental Association, we are currently operating at Level 3 restrictions. Stay up to date with the latest news from the ADA here.
We are temporarily closed. If you have a dental emergency which includes symptoms of facial swelling, please call us on 9816 4885. We are here to help.
If you are visiting the practice for a dental appointment, please read the below information regarding what we are doing and how you can also help. Thank you.
How we intent to keep you healthy during your dental visits
We want to share with you what we are doing at Advanced Dentistry Sydney to remain a comfortable, safe, inclusive and healthy environment for you and our team as we approach flu season and with this current climate of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The staff and clinicians at our practice take the responsibility to protect your health as an essential part of our role. We have had no Coronavirus scares or concerns at Advanced Dentistry Sydney whatsoever and this is purely to provide information.
What we're doing
We are an Accredited Dental Practice which means offering the highest standards in everything we do. Though it is not mandatory in the Australian dental industry, we chose to go through this rigorous process to ensure we are meeting high standards of infection control, equipment maintenance, practice cleaning, and patient treatment. In addition to this, we have increased our practice environmental cleaning routines with a particular focus on surfaces and door handles. We also have alcohol-based hand gel available in reception and throughout the practice. You may receive a phone call to adjust the time of your appointment as we are spacing them out to allow extra hygiene measure between patients and to avoid cross over in the reception area.
How you can help
You can also help reduce risk by advising us if you are feeling unwell and particularly if you are experiencing respiratory symptoms such as fever, coughing, sneezing and/or shortness of breath - we will reschedule your dental appointment. We request that all patients wash their hands at the practice before and after dental procedures.
Stay well and see you soon!
